Angi Shearstone is an author and artist navigating back to creative professional life after 3+ years of recovering from mTBI and post-concussion syndrome brought on by a car accident that totaled her car and large portions of her life.

Before that disrupted zillions of brain connections and derailed her career, her bio highlighted an award-winning professional artist with an MFA in comics, a small herd of cats, strong geek tendencies and a great love of ska-core. 

As a comics scriptwriter, artist, copywriter, and illustrator she has a unique angle on storytelling. She is a member of New England Horror Writers, New England Speculative Writers, Horror Writers of Maine, and Broad Universe. Her first published work as an author, a stand-alone BloodDreams-world story, Liars & Lies, was featured in Northern Frights, an anthology from the Horror Writers of Maine and Grinning Skull Press.

She's worked in children's books with Mercer Mayer, in comics on Batman: Gotham County Line with Scott Hampton, and on Princess: Tales of Girls who Rock with Jeremy Whitley, collaborated with Mur Lafferty on Beyond the Storm: Shadows of the Big Easy, and otherwise has self-published a handful of comic book projects, two of which with Joe Sutliff Sanders. 

Her Patreon page is in desperate need of updating, and now that this site is somewhat revised, that's moved up a notch on the priority list.
